Affectionate Grandparents

My daughter is almost 8 weeks old and before she was born we told immediate family that kissing her wasn’t allowed especially on the lips, since I kept reading about babies dying from getting kissed. We’ll ever since being born, my MIL keeps asking when she can kiss her and to ask the pediatrician when she can give her kisses and stuff. She’s always joking and pretending to kiss her(putting her hands on my daughter and kissing her own hand making it look like she’s kissing my daughter) Idk why this bothers me so much! I didn’t grow up with my grandparents or anyone besides parents kissing us. And I just don’t get why she’s so persistent on wanting to kiss her... Does anyone else feel like this or am I just weird?
