Advice??

my boyfriend recently stayed the night for the first time. i got tired quite early and took some melatonin (like always) to help me sleep. i even gave him some because he has insomnia. he slept great, way better than he usually does, but i could not sleep. he didn’t snore much but the sound of his breathing once he was finally asleep bothered me so much i ended up finally falling asleep at 6 am. any tips on how to block this out/ sleep better when he’s here? i’ve considered taking nyquil to ensure i can fall asleep but i’d rather not resort to that.
