safe to do ivf with 7 fibroids and 1 cyst?

i went to my obgyn because i bleed afte intercourse..they did a scan and found 7 fibroids and 1 cyst..i told the doctor about doing ivf in the next few months and he said it was okay..but again he is my obgyn not my fertility doctor...iam consulting that info to my fertlity doctor..but any one was in a familiar situation and didnt have to get it removed bfore doing ivvf?? and wat was the outcome? any thoughts? thanks!

I had one tiny fibroid and they wanted it removed before starting IVF... I think it depends where the fibroids are located. Mine was in the cavity of my uterus so that could have negativity impacted an embryo transfer... Could have made the embryo "not implant" according to dr. If these fibroids aren't inside the cavity and won't be having a possible negative effect of implantation, then I can understand why they would leave them alone. I have a large cyst on my left ovary and I'm still doing IVF... Just got home from my retrieval actually.

You can do an egg retrieval likely but you might need to remove the fibroids before you do the transfer. You’re right you need to consult your Ivf doc right away
