2 story homd

Not sure if this post belongs here but don’t know where else...so I have a question for those of you with 2 story homes. We are looking into moving and thinking about putting a contract on a home, it’s a 2 story home with 2 bedrooms upstairs (master and another bedroom) how do you have a LO with stairs nearby? I know it’s a little ways away but I can’t help to think about when my daughter is old enough to get out of bed and walk to our room what if she gets to close to the stairs or walks the wrong way....do I put a gate up to block the stairs, do I put a gate in her doorway...it’s giving me some anxiety and I’m second guessing our decision. I think this is the right house for us but I can’t help to think about these things. Just playing all these scenarios in my head to make sure this home is right for us. How does everyone do it who have 2 story homes? I also have anxiety because I will eventually have to move her to the main floor once we have another baby...what do I do when a toddler is downstairs from me...do I block the stairs from her...? All these questions...please someone help who lives in a 2 story and please tell me it will be ok.
