Depands. There are few things you have to take in consideration before you start potty training: is a baby walking? Is baby disturbed with a wet/dirty diaper? Does baby come to you and gives a sign/or tells she has pee/poo? Does baby know how to pull down/up panties and trousers? If you answered yes to most of the questions then go ahead and train , but the answer is no then do not stress neither yourself nor your baby and wait for the signs

We have three kids and the answer is very simple, do you want to struggle through a lot of accidents now or let them decide when themselves. We did the early option with one and it was horrible so many accidents. Our last two we let them decide when they were ready and they had maybe 3-4 total accidents. The two that decided on there own were both potty trained by 2.5. It was way easier.
