twins or single embryo transfer?

Question

I'm 33 and after 13 years of trying off and on, I'm in my first 
IVF
 cycle. So far everything is perfect and we have 5 embryos going to PGA as I type this. expecting to do a frozen transfer is December when the test results come back. 
if all 5 test good, we will need to make some decisions. my hubby and I initially wanted fraternal B/G twins but now I'm not too sure if that would be the best. 
Is there anyone who opted into a twin embryo transfer and now happy with twins? Was it super stressful? do you regret having twins?
update: Doc office just called and we now have 7 total day 5 embryos

My clinic will only transfer 1 if they are generically tested.  (For me they would only do one either way).  🍀

We had 4 embryos (not PGS tested) first transfer we transferred 2, 1 took BFP, miscarriage at 16wks due to incompetent cervix. Second transfer, frozen, transferred 2, 1 took resulted in our rainbow baby boy who is now 8 month! I think you just have to trust your gut feeling and do what feels comfortable for you. Just had a transfer of 2 embryos last Wednesday 🤞🏻 I honestly don’t mind about the outcome as long as one or two are healthy 💕

If they’re genetically tested, I would only do one. Having twins sounds fun but it’s such a higher risk to the mother and to the babies. I would personally not want to risk my baby having developmental delays from being preterm as a twin. Not saying AT ALL that people who use two embryos don’t care about that, but that’s my personal consideration. I think it’s also different to use two non tested because the rates of both implanting are lower. Good luck in your decision!

What does your doctor say?  Most doctors won't transfer 2 on the first transfer because of all the potential complications of a multiple pregnancy.  There's also a chance that the embryos could split, though rare.  It has happened before where both embryos split, and a woman gave birth to 2 sets of identical twins from 1 transfer (2 embryos, 4 babies).  
I originally wanted to do 2 and be done with it in one go, but after discussing it all with my doc, we chose to only do 1, and my doc wouldn't do 2, but we agreed with get after talking it over.

I’m only 28 but we are planning to do 2. The clinic advises one but leaves the decision ultimately up to us.
We are SURROUNDED by twins on the campus we work at, and we have twin niece and nephew. Although some were preterm, all are thriving and all mothers are as well. We are willing to accept the risks that come with two for even a 5% increase of one sticking. We would also happily welcome twins.
