Boyfriend wants an open relationship

So i have never posted here anything but i need some advice and i feel that i don’t want to talk about it with my friends.

So my bf of two year told me that he wants an open relationship and i don’t. We love each other very much and he said that he doesn’t even know if he would like it. He is 22 and said that he feels like he hasn’t experienced so much in life. We have talked about it for the last days and he keeps telling me that he loves me very much and wouldn’t do anything when i’m not okay with it but i’m afraid that what if it would end our relationship. He said that it is because of his hormones. Is it normal for men to become these feelings? I don’t know what to do, i don’t want to lose him 😔
