Hemorrhagic ovarian cyst

Hi ladies, last Sunday I was in sudden pain and couldn’t move. It was my lower left abdomen.. I went to the nearest hospital near me and they told me I had an ovarian torsion(ovaries twisting), which is a medical emergency and would call for immediate surgery. When the gynecologist that was on duty came down, she was so nasty to me and she continued to ask me what do I want to do?

So, I went against the medical advice there signed myself out an went to the hospital my gynecologist is associated with.

They did a million tests and come to find out my ovaries were not twisting, but I had a hemorrhagic cyst that ruptured, but the blood flow is still good in the left ovary. My gynecologist said it was benign, and I suppose these can go away on there own with time. So they put me on tramadol for pain and gave me the okay to go back to work. & to just follow up in a week with my gynecologist.

Well anyway, it’s now been a week and I’m still in this bad pain. It’s still the same place, and now feels like it’s on the left inner side of my vagina. I’m constantly feeling nauseas and tired. & I work as a technician and I do a part time night job in a factory... today is my first day back at the factory and I’m so scared I’m going to be in really bad pain. Not sure what to do anymore. I can’t take the tramadol while I’m working, and over the counter meds don’t work. Has anyone ever had one of these... how long does it take to go away, and what do I do about the pain I’m constantly in?
