Could The Gender Be Wrong?

I found out at 16w+4d that we are having a girl! We are sooo excited!!! But me being me, I’m worried that maybe some how they misread the ultrasound and it may not be a girl. I didn’t see the ultrasound because we did a gender reveal so I looked away when she was looking at that part. Has anyone been told the wrong gender?

you didn't get any pictures to take home? but I think it's pretty accurate I found out at 14 weeks with both my pregnancy that I was having a boy, you can definitely tell the difference. they'll tell you again what you are having at your anatomy scan between 18-22 weeks

Can it be wrong? Yes. Is it wrong? Most likely not. At 14 weeks, the fetal nub is still present. It points up or down and technology gets better and better. Most often the techs and doctors are spot on.

We were told my nephew was going to be a girl but that was 8 years ago so maybe better technology? Lol

I found out my baby was a girl during an er visit ultrasound at 13w6d and i just had an ultrasound yesterday at 17w5d and baby was still a girl!
