Doctors appointments without insurance?

I’m going to be self-pay until January 1. I made an appointment for myself at 9 weeks in early December, because I couldn’t do the 8 weeks (which I was already disappointed about). They called me asking about insurance, I told them I would be self pay until then, and they canceled my appointment and told me they don’t take self pay ☹️🥺 I’m really pretty upset, I haven’t looked into any other doctors yet. Did you guys find a doctor that would take your self pay?
