Has anyone else’s marriage changed after the baby?

I’m not sure if our marriage has changed but we’ve definitely had our highs and lows while becoming new parents. It’s been an adjustment! There have been times when I think sleep deprivation has caused us to be more frustrated with each other when we very rarely ever fought before. It’s also been a big change to not have as much quality time together anymore. Gone are the nights of cuddling on the couch and watching a movie! (But that’s okay) sometimes I tell my husband “I miss you” because our main focus now is taking care of our little guy and our time together is different. I know that our love for each other hasn’t changed though.

Wow I’m shocked it’s even! It’s a beautiful thing to witness the baby and father together. It makes me love him even more seeing this new side of him..how he talks to our baby and how our conversations are different now a days. He comes home and tells me about how he met someone with kids and talks about the future and what he plans on doing. It’s definitely a positive for me

Definitely has changed!!!! But idk if positively or negatively. It’s just different! We don’t have much time for each other, our views on life have changed, someone NEEDS us at all times, but we both love our new roles and we both help each other when things need to be done. We fight because we don’t agree in some stuff but we make up so fast because we need to make decisions about or girl’s life. 
So, just different. A good different IMO

It has changed, some positives and some negatives. On one hand, we definitely feel closer, and I absolutely love watching my husband with baby. But we are also both very tired and stressed about a lot of things and he’s dealing with a lot at work right now so he hasn’t been able to help me as much as either of us would like. We are still trying to navigate our new sex life (we didn’t have much of that while I was pregnant either because I felt so awful). It’s a lot of figuring out what parts of our “normal” pre-pregnancy life we get back and which parts are just different for good now.

With our first it was a HUGE adjustment (both negative and positive). So with #2 it's like no big deal :)

We miss each other and we are more stressed and tired, but we're the same joking, loving, give-eachother-shit couple we always were.
