39 weeks...70% effaced 0cm dilated 😫🥺😳

Finally got my cervical check... I’ve been holding out and today I’m 39.3. I’ve been having a lot of cramping but oddly I’m not even dilated??! This was a bit discouraging. We talked induction options as this office does not liking going past 41 weeks naturally. I hope things progress a week from now, otherwise baby boy will be coming 14th or 15th.

Anyone else not even dilated at this point?

(By the way, if anyone has been holding out on cervical checks like I did 😂 I have low pain tolerance and handled it ok... probably 7/10 painful experience. It’s very uncomfortable but thankfully no bleeding or spotting since.)

I would have asked for a sweep today, but she couldn’t even see I was dilated to do one 🥺
