I just don't know why this is anyone's business

So my husband and I make fair amount of money and it's not like were asking anyone for money (or have in the past) and it's not like were forcing individuals to buy these clothes...we bought them and like them. We simply bought a few clothes (a few tops, coat, hat and diaper bag) from gucci...its a nice heavy coat that will keep him warm in the winter time and we plan on using it for our next child because ita not only unisex but its heavy duty and high quality. Once they grow out of the coat, hat and tees we plan on either giving it to a family member or charity. My mom thinks I'm making the baby spoiled and that I'm wasting money. ITS ONLY ONE COAT AND HAT AND THREE TEESHIRTS and not to mention the diaper bag could easily be a purse and I got a deal on it. All of our other clothes/onesies have been bought at regular retail stores or gifted to us....so my question is how does a BABY know what it cost?

I didnt even tell her about it, she saw the box and flipped out.
