Tips to keep baby away from cord?

I love having a video monitor, but my son (11 months old) loves to grab the exposed cord. This is annoying because he always messes up the alignment of the camera so I have to adjust it to be able to see him, but more than anything it’s a safety hazard because he could shock himself by pulling it out of the outlet. Any tips for securing it in place where it’s not so tempting?

It shouldn’t be in the crib, it’s a major choking hazard. Can you maybe put it high up in a corner of the room where he can’t reach the cord at all?

It’s hard to give advice without seeing your room setup. Perhaps mount it up high on the wall? With a dresser in front of the cord?

We have our cord stapled to the wall along the baseboard and corner going up the wall. then the crib is up against the wall so they cannot even see the cord.
