Paying to find out baby’s gender early. Do it or don’t?

Question

As of right now we won’t find out baby’s gender until I’m 22 weeks. There’s a facility near where I live where you can pay $70 for a basic package to find out baby’s gender as early as 16 weeks. 
SO is worried it will be inaccurate. I’m currently 13w 3d. 
Thoughts on this? Has anyone done this due to their appointments falling funny with their doctor? I would love to know sooner just to be able to communicate and bond with baby.

We waited until the anatomy scan and it was really reassuring and special to hear that everything is fine and the baby is completely heathy and also find out the gender at the same time.

I personally think the ultrasound appt my husband and I shared together finding out the gender was so special. The anticipation driving to the appt and discussing our final thoughts on what baby will be, to the surprise that we were both right and so excited, and then the drive home finally knowing it was a boy and figuring out a name was amazing! I was 21 weeks and it was well worth the wait!

I waited until 21 weeks to find out. Well worth the wait ❤️ got great pictures and felt reassured of the accuracy. You have the whole pregnancy. Rushing the results doesn’t change the gender 😁

I paid for a gender scan at 16 weeks. It was very accurate and obvious (boy) and has been confirmed correct on all my scans since.

I went somewhere because I couldn’t wait until 20 weeks. I was 14 weeks exactly and he told me it was a girl. They confirmed it at my 20 week appt

It will be accurate. I found out via ultrasound at 13w6d and it was clear as day. Also those ultrasound places all give a guarantee to tell you the correct gender. We get ours on Saturday for baby #2. I'll be 14 weeks 2 days & wont question the result since you see on the ultrasound either a little wiener or not.
