Which IUD?

I’m doing the depo shot right now and have been for 3 months but I’ve been bleeding the ENTIRE time. A medium flow period, not just spotting. It’s making my hair fall out and affects my mental health. Before I got pregnant with my daughter, my periods were beyond terrible. They were heavy, very very painful and I’m not exaggerating about very painful, I would faint all of the time, I would get sick from the pain, and I could hardly get out of bed. I bled heavily for 7 days straight. It was a mess and I felt like I was dying. I remember being at a baby shower and fainting on my period and having to be carried to the car. I always fainted and struggled with my periods. My first postpartum period I expected it to be bad and heavy, but it was beyond terrible. I got my first depo shot then and I never stopped bleeding. So I do want on a birth control to help my periods and prevent pregnancy as we don’t want another child for a long time. But I’m tired of bleeding and the side affects. I don’t want to do the pill because I won’t always remember and I don’t want to have to worry about it. And I don’t want the arm implant because that just scares me. I know progestin birth controls can cause bleeding and spotting but I absolutely hate it. I’m having more side affects from it which I knew about all the side affects but I didn’t think I’d have to deal with it and thought it’d work best for me as I only had to worry about going every 3 months and just getting a shot and checking in with my doctor. I’m also scared of things affecting my fertility. Which IUD do you guys like? And tell me your experiences and why you prefer it and if you were on a different birth control or even depo, and if switching to something else helped. I do plan to talk to my doctor about them too but just want to know personal experiences first. Thank you!
