Baby has lip tie

Does this look severe enough to need a specialist?

Seeing our pediatrician tomorrow hopefully to get her advice.

Our poor girl has had reflux, lots of gas, is fussy when she eats, and makes clicking noises during feeds.

She is formula fed as breastfeeding did not go well. Now I think I know why. The lactation consultant didn't catch this issue and I wish I had of seen this earlier. 😭

Anyone have experience with the procedure? Did your insurance cover it? If not, what was the cost?
