Is it worth buying?

We've always done swings for our kids but I'm interested in the 4moms mamaroo. Is it worth buying? I've watched videos of the product and one thing I was wondering is if I can play soothing music from my phone to the rocker? What don't you like about it?

I had one for my baby. He didn’t like it at first, but the more I put him in it, he would sit in it for about 30 minutes at the most. He quickly grew out of it. He HATED his swing. My oldest loved his swing but I didn’t have a mamaroo for him (he’s 10 so they didn’t have that kind of stuff then). All babies are different. If you want to try a mamaroo, I’d see if I could find one on Facebook marketplace or somewhere so I’m not paying $300 for something my baby may not like.

I thought it was worth it. You can download their app and use it as a remote control. You can also play your music through the swing. My baby used it for about 6 month (always supervised) and she loved it. I used it with her right out of the hospital when she was 4 lbs and it seemed to really soothe her with the sounds and motions. I however wouldn’t buy it if it’s going to break the bank.

My son hates it 😑 We got him a regular ol side to side swing and he’ll sit in it way longer and even fall asleep. The mama roo is more of a soft smooth gliding motion no matter how fast or what setting you choose while a regular swing is a much more broad sway that goes way faster! My baby likes the fastest setting!

My son loved his! I didn’t buy mine full price tho, I got a gift card for amazon and waited to Black Friday and the price dropped significantly! I think I ended up getting mine for $120

I bought one was so excited to use it my baby hates it!!!! Thank god at my babyshower I got a glider swing. My baby will sit in that all day. I’m selling mine because it is literally just sitting there.

My best friend got this for me for my shower gift and I feel like it’s worth it. My daughter loves it and naps in it (on the days she isn’t demanding to be held during her naps). Being able to control it from my phone is nice, also the different rocking motions are wonderful!

One of my husband’s coworkers gave us one as a gift (we weren’t going to spend the extra money otherwise) but it’s really nice. Being able to control it from my phone is nice, but to be honest my little girl seems to like her other little swing just as much - it’s the Graco glider, which we originally registered for. It’s nice to have both of them, because we can just leave one of them at my husband’s dad’s house for her to use when we’re there, but she really doesn’t seem to have a preference.

I bought it with my first and loved it! Sadly we had gotten rid of it thinking we wouldn't have another. Yet here we are with baby #2 and I'm using the Graco's version (everyway soother) and for a cheaper version I love it too! I just loved the mamaroo more for the fact I could control it through my phone.

I have 4 kids and tried it with my 3rd. I was not impressed and she hated it. It isn't very cozy, and we even bought the insert thing. And they tend to get hooked on one motion anyway
