3 month old eating?

My son turned 3 months old on the 5th.. he's been drinking 6 oz for a while now he eats about every 4 hours.. but lately he is acting like 6 oz isn't enough and he is getting hungry sooner.. should I up his formula? I'm not sure if it would be over feeding him?

I feel like my son eats every waking second and he’s almost 4 months. He eats anywhere between 32-38 ounces in a 24 hour period.

Maybe give him the 6oz and if he’s acting still hungry try 6.5oz see what happens. My son is 4 months old and has been doing 6oz since 3 months old we got the go ahead at his 4 month appointment to start purées so that has helped keep him fuller.

Formula babies tend to eat more more often. If hes still hungry, feed him. Just dont go over board.

There is a pretty significant growth spurt around 3 months. I breastfed so I’m not sure about formula but I know my babies nursed more frequently and for longer at that age. I’d increase it maybe a small amount each time and see how he does until you can speak to his pediatrician about how many oz is appropriate for his age and weight.
