How many ounces of breastmilk does your baby drink?

FTM..My son is 3 weeks old and i've been breastfeeding and pumping. I let him nurse and give him about 3oz of pumped milk every 3hrs.  Is this enough? When will i know to increase to 3.5 ounces?

See this. If he seems unsatisfied, he might be overfed! Remember, they take a lot while nursing, and suck on anything you put in their mouth on reflex... So he might be full!

General rule of thumb is an ounce/hour. So every 3 hours, 3 ounces. BM changes as babies grow so you don't need to up the amount like Formula. When baby is going through a growth spurt then yes, they'll want and need more but otherwise you may be over feeding.

So he's breastfeeding and then getting a bottle after?? My 4 week old gets about 4 oz of pumped milk. She just started latching this weekend so it's trying to figure out her happy spot now.
