Would you be put off?

I’m only 4 weeks as of today and yesterday early in the day I called to let my OBGYN office know so I could set up my 8/10 week appointment.  Well one of the front desk ladies was looking for a date and then in kind of a snarky sarcastic way she told me that my doctor is just completely jam packed for the rest of the year and she would just have to let the nurses know to try and find some time for me and without a breath just said “OKAYYYY? BYYEE” and i never got a call back yesterday.  I understand healthcare can be busy especially at the end of the year (I’m a provider as well) but just the way it was handled and then no one got back with me that day.  I may give it a day and see if i hear anything back and if not I’ll be sure to call back.  **NOTE: i was not rude or anything in the least 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe the lady was just having a bad day.

My doctor office has a 48 hour return call policy. So unless it's an emergency,  they dont typically call the same day.

I would call back and see about getting a different receptionist, and I would let the office manager know about your call. There’s a chance that this woman isn’t doing what she’s supposed to be, turning away patients and not returning calls. All of those people they’re so busy with will be delivering before you, and they won’t have any patients in the pipeline.
I called mine at almost 7 weeks for an appointment and the lady basically said “that’s too early to call, why are you calling?” So I called back at 8 weeks and another lady said I was too late and should have called earlier!! I was like NO, and explained the other call. She was very nice and apologetic for the other one, and found me an appointment.
