How scared should i be?

Question

I have had to previous births vaginal with epidural. This time around i have twins. How bad is it havin a csection? How painful is it?
Omg. Im so scared to have one. What are somethings i should kno in case?

For me the most painful part by far was the spinal shot. That's what I'm scared of this time around.  The good news is it's only a couple minutes of intense pain and then you don't feel the pain. I have back problems so I'm sure it's not quite as bad for most people. When you hear baby cry and hold them none of the pain matters. The younger you are the easier the recovery. The first couple weeks are the hardest but if you stay on top of the pain with pain meds and keep the wound clean and dry it's no problem. Most pain came from me trying to do too much too quickly. Again though, you'll be too busy admiring your beautiful baby/babies to mind the pain too much.

Are you for sure having a C-section? Because you can birth twins vaginally.

Just a question, why are you assuming you’ll have a c-section? Did your doc tell you that you’ll have to have one?

When I went in for my c-section, I was freaked out because of the shot. The sweetest nurse in the entire world (one of those angel on earth kind of people) goes, “Here, give me a hug, and it won’t be so bad.” That kind nurse held me until it was all over, and she spoke happy things to me the entire time, like my husband would be right back in the room and I was just minutes away from having my baby! 
I told my doctor ahead of time that I wanted to know as little as possible about what was going on, which she respected. Hubby sat by my head the whole time and talked to me, and the angel nurse asked me what kind of music I wanted her to turn on Pandora. My daughter was born to one of my favorite songs! 😂
The first few days are hard, but as long as you have some support when you get home, you will be fine. In all honesty, I have a high tolerance to pain, but the worst mine got at any point in time was a 5. I stopped taking all meds but the hospital grade ibuprofen by the time I left the hospital or a few days after. It’s super important to keep your wound area clean and dry until it heals, but after that, it hasn’t caused me any issues.
Overall, my experience was really positive, so I’m hoping for that for round two with these precious twins! Good luck, honey! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! 💕💕💕

I had a C-section with my son, actually I was afraid of it too, but was wonderful, yes you are going to feel pain (nothing too strong) and going to need help at least the first 1 to 2 weeks but after that, piece of cake, I wouldn’t change it, before knowing I was carrying twins I was going to ask my OB for another c-section, now is going to be necessary 😊.
