one of my good friends recently started talking to/sleeping with this guy who is in a 4 year relationship and lives with her and her parents. My friend knows about his girlfriend. I’m conflicted because i know this is absolutely none of my business, but i also literally just broke up with my boyfriend for cheating on me, so i know exactly how it feels to find out you’ve been in the dark for so long. I’m not sure if i should say something

So she’s the ‘other woman’?
That situation is never good. Even if she were to justify herself saying they are in love and that they are meant for each other. What makes her think he wouldn’t do the same exact thing to her once the other girl leaves him. He’ll just go and cheat on her later on.

I would tell the gf and drop the friend. I’m not friends with cheaters or people who help someone cheat. I choose not to surround myself with those type of people because they have no respect for other people or themselves.

Absolutely tell the gf. I was friends with a girl in high school who was sleeping with a guy in a similar length relationship. Pretty much everyone knew. Looking back I totally regret not telling her and being friends with the side chick. He would tell me how he would die without his girl, but he was sleeping around on her🙄

I used to have a friend who literally had no regard either for a guys relationship status. Her mindset was, “I’m single and don’t want this to be a relationship, I’m just in it for the sex and a good time” so basically, she didn’t care if the guy was cheating - to her, it wasn’t her problem. 
I was shocked that she could be okay with that, one- why would you want to sleep with a scumbag like that? (Her answer? “I don’t like him, just his body lol”) and two, finding out that the person you love and trust most has been lying to you and sleeping with someone else  is devastating.   Unless I’ve got a reason not to tell someone, I think they have a right to know.
