Half-days childcare?

Anybody use childcare for like half days or some days just to drop in?
I work from home but some days I will be going to visit homes and of course I can’t take my baby, so is this a thing where I can pay for half days/drop in days at daycare? Or will I just have to pay full tuition? I’m really hoping not because baby will only be there about 2 days a week and not even all day 😩 ugh

My daycare goes by the days of the week you use. So for instance my daughter only has daycare on Monday and Friday so I pay for two days a week. My daycare is full so nobody can drop in, you have to stick to the specific days you get. No discount for picking up early though. You’ll just have to call around to daycares near you and see how they work.

where i live you can do half days! even when i was kindergarten we had half days.

Daycares near me charge for a full day even if you do a half day. We only need a 4 hour window M-F, but everyone was going to charge the full tuition. I ended up hiring a sitter that comes to my house everyday.
