Do you instantly love your second child as much as first?

Question

Im currently pregnant with baby 2 and of course I will absolutely adore this new baby but honestly can you love it as much as your first baby as soon as you meet them? Like with your first its such a new and exciting experience and I was overwhelmed with instant love. Im worried slightly it wont be as insant with baby 2? Im sure ill love it but how I can love something as much as my current baby baffles me!

For some it isn’t even instant with baby #1.  Each pregnancy/birth is different.  You might feel instant overwhelming love, or it might be delayed.  I was very fortunate to fall madly and instantly in love with all my babies, but hormones can be so unpredictable!
What I can assure you is that you WILL love baby #2 just as much as your first - as hard as that is to comprehend right now.  
For me, the most heart-exploding moments were seeing my two children loving each other. It’s amazing! 😍

I definitely have so much love for my son, the Apple of my eye, that I’m not even excited that I’m having a girl that was the only thing I wanted in life. I’m not trying as hard on nutrition because my son is my world. I hope when I see her I will instantly feel the same I did for Asher, exactly doubling the love I feel total. I think its just hard to imagine life with this big dynamic change. I don’t fantasize about her like I did with him. I already got a child so there aren’t a lot of things to wonder if you know what I mean? But I think I’ll be obsessed with the pair of them
