Birth Control issue

I’ve been on the pill for about six months now and no problems with getting my period on time and it going off on time.

About 3 weeks ago, I missed 3 pills in a row and followed instructions on what to do if I missed (throw current pack away and start a new one)

By the time I started the new pack, my period came on. And I’ve been bleeding ever since. Not necessarily heavy some days, but still bleeding is bleeding.

Is this normal because I missed or should I go visit my doctor?
