So I’m soon to buy a new ukulele since my old one is gone forever (divorce sucks y’all) and was planning to paint this one to make it cute. Now, I need to know what exactly I need to buy for this project. Since I’ll be painting the back of the neck where my hand will often be rubbing against, I’m soooo worried about going to all the trouble of painting it and then making it chip off or fade. Assuming the ukulele I get will be wood, maybe painted over with a lacquer or something to make it smooth, what kind of paint should I be buying? And is there a sort of paint/spray I should cover it with to make it smooth and protected from chipping off? Help 🥵🥵🥵
