Labor stories? How soon after or How quickly?

Question

I’m 38 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby & I’m at 3cm, cervix is very thin (anterior) & baby is super low. Also have been In prodromal labor for about 5 days now my contractions just aren’t dilating me. 
She said when labor starts I should go fast and smoothly. So I was curious about others labor stories similar to my situation
How soon did y’all deliver?

That’s how I was. False labor for days and at a 3. When labor started, it was fast. 3ish hours from start to finish

My first 6 hours, 2nd one 5hours 3rd one 4 hours and my 4th one 3 hours. I am thankful that I have fast and easy labor.

I was at 4cm for three weeks with my third but once I started having contractions I think the real labor started about 3-4days later. I was only in labor for 5 hours and she came out easily after my water burst in the hospital. No epidural .
