Picky 1 year old?

Question

Does anyone else have a 15 month old that will not eat foods like meat or chicken etc? 
When my son was about 10 mos he’d eat eggs and all now all he’ll eat is chips, cheese gold fish, cereal anything with a crunchy texture and a lot of milk at night because he’s hungry. He loves loves French fries that’s the most thing he’ll eat. 
I’ve tried eggs, meat, chicken, waffles and nothing. He eats my smoothie which consists of peach, strawberry, banana, juice and peach yogurt. He’ll eat spaghetti noodles only no meat. 
I’m scared he’s never going to eat right to get the nutrients he needs. Is this a phase? Anyone else going or have gone through this?

I’ve been there. I had to get advice from the pediatrician. Each meal (3 a day like you) should consist of at least a tablespoon each of meat, fruit, veggie, carb, and then dairy (could be milk, cheese, yogurt). That way you don’t overwhelm him. If he requests more, you give more. But they can eat just a tablespoon each and it be adequate at their age. I made beef fajitas for dinner tonight. Half a tortilla, tablespoon sour cream, green pepper, and steak. He had some apple while waiting for it. He immediately ate up the steak and didn’t touch green, so I gave him some more (always those small increments of tablespoon). He ate that and then ate the green pepper. It’s touchy because if I give him too much he’ll throw it on the floor. But I don’t have problems with this method. If he starts to drop food purposefully, I know he’s done.
