Is There A Connection Or Bad Stomach Bug...

Baby dropped almost 2 weeks ago and now the last 2-3 I've had (getting worse) nausea, bad gas, low appetite, and diahrrea. The nausea has gotten so bad that I just struggled to take my medicine tonight and the diahrrea (TMI) has me currently emptying on the toilet.

Labor soon is not good because I'm still in the preterm stage.

Before labor, with my first, I only remember being extremely hungry (BH all day, no water breaking) and eating way too much food just 3 hrs before active labor contractions began.

Might be a silly question, but are those "emptying" symptoms a sign of labor approaching or just random bad tummy days? I've also lost small amounts of my mucous plug since baby dropped and have been having "she's coming any minute" feelings for the last two weeks, can't be on my feet long without pain.

I have other posts talking about my recent history of what's been going on with me. Dr even mentioned preterm as a possiblity to be aware of when ordering my ultrasound and UA.
