Should I be worried ?

Excuse my hideous feet but when should I be worried about how swollen my feet are ? I’m able to leave indents in my feet that stay for quite a while. I’m almost 39 weeks and my doctor just keeps brushing off the swelling because my blood pressure is great. With my first baby I was induced due to preeclampsia. I just feel like they shouldn’t be this bad... idk maybe I’m just worrying for nothing. Also I’m not dehydrated because I’ve been keeping track of that as much as possible.

You’re almost due and swelling is normal. Is your doctor requiring you to do regular urine tests?

Try putting your feet up the wall and lying on the floor, it might help with swelling. Or compression socks.

I mean, that looks like standard swelling to me for 39 weeks but if you are worried then definitely check in with your doctor 👍🏼

I would go get it looked at. I had the same thing. I had postpartum preeclampsia though. I asked about the swelling and the dr shook it off. The nurses in L&D that night were almost mad I was so swollen and I wasn’t taken in sooner.

Thank you to everyone who commented. I went ahead and got checked and had extremely high blood pressure. 209 over 119. 😬 so I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia and am now being induced.
