How do you know if your baby is colicky?

Liza

When my baby is awake, it seems like more time is spent crying than not. I feel like I’m constantly just trying to prevent the crying from coming on. He doesn’t stay in one place for more than a few minutes before he starts crying (play mat, bouncy chair with toys, rocking chair with toys, swing, rocking lounger thing, in my arms) He’s tough to please! Plus he doesn’t take a pacifier well. If he takes it, he spits it out within 20 seconds. He cries even more at night time once the sun starts to set. He always cries when I rock him to sleep until he finally passes out. I have no idea if this is normal or “colic” and I don’t even really understand what colic is! Lol 🙈
