I should have to ask my mom for permission to go somewhere even if I'm 18 I'm moving out soon with my boyfriend and if she gets mad and tells me to leave its no big deal anyway. I'll be leaving with him for a month tell I move in with my aunt to go to college cause my mother won't pay for it

I did it just to not worry my mum, plus she respects me allot more. When I tell her. She says I don't have to ask permission but at least knows where I am. This was from 18 and I'm moving now at 20

My sister went through this and the cops got involved and said that since it's her house then it's her rules and as long as you live there you have to abide by them. No matter how old you are, my sister was 19.
