It’s just not happening

It probably be easier to talk about my love life overall.... it sucks and I don’t understand why. I’ve been single all my life and not once had a boyfriend. Furthest it came down to is dating each other without a title. I hate to say it but I want true love, I want a connection with someone, I want to love and hate them, I want it all with someone and have that back. I get I’m only 22 but it’s so frustrating. I tried online dating, I tried casual (yeah stupid idea haha), I’ve been set up through mutual friends and does not go far. People have told me because I’m too serious or intimidating or too sweet or too good for them. Even when it does work out with someone, they got problems and severe insecurities and clingy. All together it’s frustrating, I guess I’m asking those who found love or those who still have hope, how can I still have hope? Because I’m losing it
