Starting clomid for the first time

Today I had my 2 week post op for my hysteroscopy and d&c procedure. My doctor informed me that she was able to remove the scar tissue that I had. She prescribed me provera to induce my cycle and clomid. I’m supposed to take 100 mg of clomid on cycle days 5-9 then test using OPKs starting on day 12. She also wants me to have bloodwork done on day 10 to test my LH and FSH levels then again on day 21 to test my progesterone levels. I’m also taking 2000 mg of metformin per day. Has anyone had any success with clomid? We’ve been trying for almost a year with no success. We’re really hoping this works.
