Transvaginal ultrasound Results

Sarahi22

Hello ladies, today I had the results of my transvaginal ultrasound. (The reason I had that ultrasound was because I've been ttc about 4 years now with no luck and was diagnosed with PCOS 2 weeks ago, my period has been spotting off and on for 3 months). I was prescribed Provera to regulate my period and instead of stopping the bleeding, it's actually gotten way heavy with cramping. She did not want to perform a pap smear yet due to heavy bleeding though.

My doctor explained that I have a higher androgen hormone count by 2 points than normal. Also, she explained I'm not ovulating due to my ovaries producing more testosterone levels and to top it off my uterine lining is thick, 10mm.

She said I may need surgery to insert a camera into my vagina and my uterus to scrape the thick lining so that I can have a better chance at ttc. Although I feel a little closer to finding possible solutions it's so nerve wracking.

I'm having a hard time just trying to feel normal -___- physically its tiring and I have on and off pain.

If in two weeks my uterine lining doesn't shed or lessen, I will have to get that surgery and it's scary for me to think about. Sorry for the long post, if anyone has any similar experiences and has been better, or gotten pregnant please share, thank you!❤
