4cm, no constant contractions!

So I had my weekly check up yesterday (Wednesday, 38+1). Doc said I was 4cm and did a sweep. Said he was confident that I would be back to labor and delivery in the next couple days!!!

My question is for moms who have had babies before, how long were you at 4cm before you went into active labor?

FTM and I’ve been having random contractions. They will form to about 9-10 mins apart for an hour or so then die out. I also have been losing my mucus plug and had a minor bloody show since Friday of last week!

How long did it take you to go into active labor after being told you were 4cm?
