Pcos sisters- can you assist me please!!!

Hey ladies- so I have pcos and have been suffering for 6years

I am actively TTC. It’s been 18months and nothing! I’ve seen a fertility doctor and I’m on my way to treatment but I need to lose weight. So I decided to make some changes and have lost 1.5stone so far and I’m very proud of myself And I’m continuing to lose the weight

Anyways- I usually have periods every 2-3 months. Recently I had my usual period after 8 weeks of nothing. Then I was pleasantly surprised by a period after 35days- my first ‘normal’ cycle in over 6years !!! I’m thrilled, but I’m having some problems. My period is so so so heavy, like continuous heavy bleeding, bleeding through tampons! And I don’t want to be too graphic, but it’s quite clotty and the normal period odour is a fair bit stronger than usual. It’s been 9 days and it’s not slowing down!! I don’t know if this is just because my periods appear to be coming back to ‘normal’ or if there’s something more going on? I just wondered if anyone had experienced this before ???

Any help would be appreciated before I see a doctor next week if it continues!
