Birth story

Starting having contractions at work on Tuesday. They ended up getting to 511 so we went to the hospital. Although I was 40+2, I was only dilated 1 cm so we were sent home. That night the contractions intensified to the point I could not move during one. Around 3 pm we went back and i was still 1 cm but very thin. Got admitted.. epidural by 8 pm. Progressed from 1 to 3 to 4 then 7 and finally stuck at 8-9 for hours. Tried to push while doc opened my cervix for about 3 pushes until she decided he definitely need a c section. Also had meconium and heart rate started to drop! Scary ftm experience.. but he’s here... and so perfect!
