How often does your baby poop?

I thought breastfed babies poop daily, even if its just a squirt, but lately, my 7 week old baby will go days without pooping, and when she finally goes, its a blowout!

Yeah that's normal. Mine goes pretty much every other day but every once in a while he will hold it in several days.

It's normal to go days without popping for breastfed babies. They only get rid of what they don't need. My baby girl did the same thing, gave her a little formula & she pooped almost instantly

Ours has been every 4-6 days. If he hits 7 or seems uncomfortable, his doc suggests prune juice, diluted in his breast milk bottle (yum?). Haven't needed it yet...

Same here. My doctor said breastfed babies don't need to poop as much but to use dark Karo syrup if she seems uncomfortable. Just two teaspoons in a bottle of breast milk. Just use two oz of milk.

When my daughter was a newborn she pooped 5-8 times a day. At around 3 months she started going less and now she goes between 1-3 times a day. She has had a day or two where she doesn't poop. The next day she usually has a blowout🙈 She is ebf.
