Baby boy number 3 birth story!

So to start this off I have had to be induced with all 3 of my boys a week after my due date. My cervix has never thinned or Dilated on its own even after multiple kids. So here is my birth story.

Tuesday at noon I went to the hospital 40+6 days with 0 effacement or

Dilation. My doctor said i was in for a long day which I figured. I started my induction at 3pm after check in and they started me with misoprostol vaginally. I was told to lay still for 4 hours and it would help thin me. I did what i was told and got to 70% effaced and 2cm dilated in those 4 hours. Next was the foley bulb insertion. It actually wasn’t as painful as I thought and it brought me to 4cm after two more hours. I was contracting really bad when it came out so the dr said let’s hold off on pitocin and see what your body can do. I bounced in a yoga ball and did squats for two hours and when i was checked again my body made no progress. I was then put on pitocin and it was increased ever 30 mins. I stayed on it until about 10am and was checked and only was 5cm so i opted for an epidural and laid down. I was so numb i was afraid i wouldn’t be able to push if the time ever came. The dr broke my water and i kept dozing off and at 1145 my dr came in to tell me i was 9+ but had 1/2 cm lip he wanted off my cervix first so to wait a half hour. I was so exhausting however i knew it would be over soon. 30 mins later the dr came in to see if I wanted to have a baby it was go time. Well I literally put my legs up and pushed for 15 seconds and my sweet baby was born. 8 pounds 2 ounces 20.5 inches long Nash Augustine Snyder joined our perfect family after 21 hours of my third and last induction :) this mom of boys needs a nap.
