Hi guys!

I’m 21 years old, and I’m a Biochem student who lives at home.

My family and I are Persian, and unfortunately, my parents are extremely conservative.

My curfew is 8:30PM when I’m out with a friend. I don’t drink or do drugs. I have no boyfriend.

The farthest I can go out from my house is less than 10 miles.

I feel like “the best years of my life” are passing by and it’s absolute hell for me.

I’ve tried so many times since I turned 18 to reason with my parents to extend my curfew but they never listen.

It’s always the same “you’re under our roof so you have to follow our rules” argument, which I respect. I’m just asking for them to treat me like an adult, and not a sheltered little girl.

I haven’t lived my life, and I’m almost a quarter through it.

Please help me out by giving me ideas on how to convince my parents to give me more freedom. I’m so depressed honestly. I don’t know what to do.
