Diaper rash??? Help!!

Help! Is this just a normal diaper rash or something else? 5 month old baby girl and this is the first time we have experienced this! Thanks in advance!

Until you do get her into the doctor to see if it’s yeast infection rash (in my opinion I don’t think it is because they look a lot worse then that unless she’s just starting to get one plus with yeast infection rash it’s more red in the areajust clean her as normal. If your using rash cream skip it every other diaper change and let it air out from time to time.

It looks like a yeast rash. I’d make her an appointment because if it is yeast, diaper creams will make it worse.

My daughter has a bad diaper rash due to stomach bug. I took her to the doctor Friday because she was pooping like 7 times a day. It looked similar to that but much worse. Dr said to keep diaper rash cream on it, so thick you can see her skin. When we bathe her don’t use soap and don’t use regular wipes, use a wet towel/washcloth or water wipes because the alcohol in the wipes will her her little bottom until its clear. It’s only been two days and is looking a lot better. Definitely get her to doctor just to be safe though.
