Sick cat?

Update: I woke up this morning and he was back to normal! He has been eating and drinking and has not thrown up since about 4pm yesterday! I have no idea what happened but the vet assumes it was just an upset stomach! The vet said to maybe change his food to a hypoallergenic one incase it was due to an allergy but it's a mystery! Thank you all for your concern and suggestions. 😊

My fur baby, Sully (cat) has been throwing up every few hours today. He isn't drinking much or eating. He was fine yesterday and even as of 10am this morning. He has been moving about but mostly just laying on the floor on our living rug, so definitely not his active usual self. He is 7 years old and has never had any other health issues although at our last vet appointment a few months ago the vet said he has developed a very mild heart murmur but she said it should pose no health threats or complications. I'm planning on taking him to the vet after work tomorrow. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? We lost a cat to cancer before him and I am really scared because I don't have the heart to go through that again.
