Painful sex

So I just wonder if yal have painful sex? Not just because the dick is big but does it just hurt to the point you gotta stop or go slow?? I have regular periods and my gynecologist gave me a pap smear last year and I’m not due for another one for 3 more years because my pap came up normal. She says since I conceived my daughter within 5 months, she said that’s pretty fast and infertility is not a concern at all. I guess my question is.. does sex hurt? Is it supposed to?
