Is this really clusterfeeding?

Kaitlyn

My newborn is 4 weeks old tomorrow. I have experienced what I believe to be “clusterfeeds” at around 1 week of age and about 3 weeks. My little one on a normal day will often only go an hour to an hour and a half in between feeds (she’ll sometimes go longer if she has a good nap). Today I noticed she started getting really fussy this evening (starting around 6pm). She was nursing on both breast and would unlatch herself as seem very sleepy I burped her and tried to let her continue sleeping on my chest a bit. But after like 2 minutes of resting on my chest she was back to rooting and crying and wanting to feed. It’s now 9:13pm and the cycle has not stopped. She’s just not giving me a break. She also feeds on each breast for at least 25 minutes and I feel like there’s no way she’s getting anything (and only possibly building my milk supply).

We’ve tried everything including a pacifier (have tried since leaving the hospital. We have tried 5 different brands so far and hates every single one). I’m just worried imdoing something wrong or somehow spoiling her for ultimately giving her the boob every time she seems she wants it. It’s so exhausting 😞 help!
