Do you wait or just go inside?

If you’re partner isn’t home but you know they’re on the way, do you go in and wait for them there or do you wait outside for them?
Every time I get to my boyfriends house without him there, I wait in my car outside because I feel weird if I just walked into the house, when though none of his family is probably home

I go inside but then again Husband and I live together so my situation is far different than yours lol

I just go in. I’m comfortable with his family so maybe in your case you could knock and say you’re there to wait for him? I used to be so shy and I would wait in my car or wait inside in the corridor.

My boyfriend lives with his family. If I’m at his house and he isn’t home yet, I will knock on the door and if his parents are home, they’ll let me in and I’ll wait in the kitchen or something. If they aren’t home, I freeze my ass off waiting on the porch. I don’t drive or have a car so I don’t really have many choices lol. But I don’t see the issue with waiting inside without him. I wouldn’t just walk in though, I’d knock.

If I dont live there then Id wait. It would feel like an invasion of someone elses space otherwise.
