How long faint?

So,... does anybody have experience with faint lines? How long did yours stay faint and what did it mean for you?

I had a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage right before I conceived my younger son. I got faint lines on First Response 3 days in a row but they didn't get any darker, plus when I initially had a positive digital it was a negative by the third day :( When I got pregnant with him I got a faint line at 9-10 dpo but it got darker within a day or two and kept getting darker!

Faint, if real, will get darker every 2-3 days cause Hcg doubles every 48-72 hours.
