So I have had 3 miscarriages and the doctor that was with me throughout it all always wanted to know the second I got a positive test to get progesterone and schedule an earlier first appointment (6 weeks instead of 9). But I moved and got a new doctor and got pregnant a month after I moved. This new doctor still just wants to wait until I’m 9 weeks for an ultrasound and no progesterone. I understand why she is saying no to progesterone because studies have shown that it really doesn’t do much so I get that. I also understand there isn’t much to see at 6 weeks in an ultrasound so having an appointment that early is somewhat pointless but after having even ONE miscarriage, you become so consumed with paranoia as soon as you see that BFP. So I don’t know if I should get a new doctor, try to talk to my old doctor or just chill out and bask in my paranoia for the next 4 weeks.
