Does this make any sense

So I had my doctors appointment the other day and I’ve been having contractions and other pains so my doctor checked to see if I was dilated well I’m not dilated but my cervix is lower then it should be I’m 26 weeks and my doctor said to try to keep her in for 10 more weeks I was supposed to have a scheduled c-section on February 21st but she moved it back to the 26th even tho she thinks baby will come out early. My mom thinks that she might of pushed it back to let me have her naturally but my husband thinks it is bc she thought I said the 26th what do you guys think
